Q: What is ESOF2004? A: EuroScience Open Forum 2004 purpose is to hightlight Science, Technology, and Innovation in Europe. ESOF2004 will provide a forum for open dialogue, debate and discussion on the sciences, in its broadest sense (encompassing also the humanities and the social sciences). It is the first pan-European interdisciplinary initiative to present science to the public.

Q: When and where is ESOF2004 taking place? A: 25 – 28 August, 2004, in Stockholm, Sweden

Q: What are the aims of ESOF2004? A: The main aims of ESOF2004 are to: • present science and the humanities at the cutting edge • stimulate scientific awareness • foster debate on science and society

Q: Who is behind ESOF2004? A: The main organisation behind the meeting is Euroscience, Strasbourg. ESOF2004 is supported by several Partners to date.

Q: How do I become a member of Euroscience, so that I get reduced fee for ESOF2004 and other benefits? Euroscience as initiator of ESOF2004 is offering its members to register for ESOF 2004 at a fee reduced by 50 €! As the annual contribution to Euroscience is 40€, you save 10€ by being or becoming member of Euroscience.

You can easily submit your inscription to Euroscience by using the on-line registration at our web or by sending us the form in print version. But being a Euroscience member does not only permit you to inscribe you at a reduced fee for ESOF2004, it actually entitles you to participate in the shaping of the scientific Europe and to receive the quarterly Euroscience News that keeps you in touch with important science initiative across Europe. Euroscience is a pan-European Association present in 40 European Countries.
